In addition to buying stocks, Berkshire Hathaway buys whole companies, preferred stocks only issued to it, debt thats very hard for an individual to research, foreign issues that are hard to research. An individual can't buy Burlington Northern Railroad anymore (his recent aquisition)Also, a key to Buffett's success is that a lot of his investments are financed through interest free float from his insurance operations. No one can duplicate that. Furthermore, who is smarter than Buffett?If you believe in Buffett, just buy Berkshire Hathaway stock and stay with it for a very long time.
