Dale Mccoun: This is why kids do not ought to be gambling video video games. They must be external gambling within the sunshine and rain and snow. Not cooped up within the apartment. Marco Stolarz: Because most people have no clue what PDAs really are capable of, and their only preconceived view of one is the old "Palm Pilot" stereotype. My mom actually calls my Dell Pocket PC a Palm Pilot still, no matter how many times I explain the difference. Putting PDAs in the consumer electronics section of YAnswers makes sense considering the push towards convergences recently. Whereas PDAs were always targeted towards the business world (the lack of marketing to the everyday! user may have been the downfall of the standalone PDA), cell phones are available everywhere and practically disposable commodities nowadays. Newer PDAs also have both color screens and audio capabilities, enabling them to be used as mobile phones, web browsers, or portable media players. Many PDAs can access the Internet, intranets or extranets via Wi-Fi, or Wireless Wide-Area Networks (WWANs). One of the most significant PDA characteristic is the presence of a touch screen.High-end PDAs offer multimedia, security and add-on features not found on less expensive devices: A Secure Digital Input/Output (SDIO) card slot for add-on peripherals contained in an SDIO card, for example, a Bluetooth card, a Wi-Fi card, or a GPS (global positioning system) card.A built-in digital camera for snapping digital images and capturing short videos (The quality will not be as good as that of a dedicated camera.)
