Timmy Bustard: I stopped eating meat when I learned that chickens are kept in small cages and often willl never get the chance their entire life time to stratch their wings, they stand on thin wires that gradually grow into and become part of their feet and when they are removed from the cage their feet are ripped.Scientists now think that cows farts are helping with global warming, eat less cow, less cow is bred less cows fart, less global warming. Also because so much meat is eatin now, they are cloning animals, im nto sure about you but im not ok with eating cloned meat, so mide as well stop now before you dont know what you are eating anymorego to www.goveg.com for great ideas, comments, and stats...Show more

Booker Warlick: I'm 15 and have been vegetarian for a few years, I did some research. If you think about how many animals you would normally consume if you did eat meat, but once you are vegetarian and you do the math it's more than 100 animals a year.2.5% of adults in the USA are vegetarian and 2% of children and adolescents ages 6-17 are vegetarian.Different kinds of vegetarians include: Lacto-Ovo vegetarian (eats diary and egg products), Lacto-Vegetarians (eats dairy, but no eggs) and vegans (do not eat meat, dairy, eggs or any other animal by-products)Hope that helped. I would highly reccomend being a vegetarian-it does make a difference!!...Show more
