i need dental insurance.?

i need dental insurance.?

answers 0:what is the best company to go through for dental insurance?i don't want to pay alot out of pocket, or wait for the coverage to take effect. and i sure don't want one of those discount plans.i would like it to cover whiting and cosmetic?answers 1:i live in tennessee.and mexico is out of the question.i dont have time to travel down ther.and i dont need major work. just the routine stuff.. i just want more for my money!answers 2:You will be hard pressed to find one that doesn't have some sort of waiting period on any major work (root canals, crowns). If you do find one, it will probably cost you out the nose. There is no way you're going to find a plan that covers whitening or veneers or such for cosmetic reasons. That's just the way it is. Most dental insurance will only cover up to $1000-$1500 a year. If you're looking strictly for cosmetic, best bet would be a discount pla! n and finding a dentist in network.Good luck!...answers 3:I hate to disagree with your other replies, However, if you understand what type of insurance you are buying and for what reasons you can find good plans out there. I would be able to help you better if I knew what state you were in. That being said, Since I am a insurance agent my advise would be that you may want to look for an HMO since for the most part they do not have long term waiting periods or a annual dollar limit on benefits. HMO's dental plans is insurance and are normally low cost plans. Now for your whiting and cosmetic needs it is true that it may be harder to find dental insurance to cover those types of producers. But some plans do have a cosmetic rider that you can pay more for. Although you stated you do not want a dental discount plan they are great for helping reduce your cost for whiting and cosmetic needs. Maybe give them a second look. As for the one suggestion that you go to Mexico for y! our dental since it would in theory be less expensive. There ! would be a few factors to consider. 1) Do you speak Spanish. If you can not talk to the dentist how will you know what needs to be done, or if you are going to get what you want. 2) Just like the US, Mexico will have good and bad dentist. What will you do if you get a bad one in Mexico? You can not sue, you can not go to your US insurance they will not cover for work in progress, and going to the US dept of Insurance will not help you in Mexico.3) Unless you know of a dentist and was referred by someone you can trust I would re think running to Mexico for dental work. Just my opinion on that. I have listed a link for your review that may help you on your dental needs. http://www.onlinedentalinsurance.com... answers 4:Dental insurance generally never covers the cosmetic stuff. Lots of regular health insurance plans have minimal dental coverage, if they offer any at all. If you have an orthodontic problem and your teeth need straightening, you might get coverage for! that. Some plans will only cover tooth extraction, for example, but not a replacement implant or even a bridge for the resulting gap, not an expensive repair such as a crown. So finding an affordable plan that covers beautification is going to be difficult, I think. Best to just start saving up your money for the work....answers 5:The best dental insurance is to live or move close to Mexico. As most people know, the US is the absolute worse place to be for dental work, because of cost.
